What is the post of Kharidar?
Kharidar (Gazetted Permanent Class, II) or Assistant Fourth level Post is a ward secretary in our general sense. The job of a kharidar is to conduct daily work in government offices, manage files, and provide direct service to the service recipients. The minimum qualification for the post of kharidar is SLC / SEE or equivalent. Any Nepali citizen who has passed this post can apply for this post.

- First Phase: Written Examination (First Phase)
This phase is the first and most important because one cannot proceed to the second phase without passing the first phase.

Subject: General Knowledge & Basic Office Skills Test (BOST)
Full Marks: 100
Passing Marks: 40
Question Type: Objective Multiple Choice (MCQs) – 50 questions (2 marks each)
Time: 45 minutes
Note: There is negative mark in the first paper. Since 20% marks will be deducted for a wrong answer, it is better to circle only the answer that you know for sure.
B) Part II (Written Examination)

C)Third Phase: Computer Skill Test and Interview
